Bring your recyclables (clean plastic bottles & aluminim cans ONLY, NO GLASS), Formosa gate, 7:30-8:05 a.m. on Tuesdays. No need to find parking, just drop them off with the Recycling Drive Volunteer at the curb. read more
The Harvest Festival was a great success!
Thank you to all of the families who helped to make it an annual fun event. The kids were all dressed up and having fun at the grade-level booths. We are all fortunate to be part of our wonderful Melrose community!
Our Morning Valet Volunteers make drop off a breeze by helping students from the car to the playground and eliminating the need for you to find a parking space! Are you available from 7:30-8:06 a.m. Volunteering for morning valet a nice way to start your day greeting the students in grades 1-5 coming to school. If you can sign-up for one day a week, please contact Wendi Smith-Harris.
Yoga for Parents
Every Tuesday from 4-5pm and Friday from 3-4pm, parents are welcome to join the yoga class with the faculty/staff of Melrose. Taught by parent, Virgilia Barrera, this class is designed to “de-stress and decompress” you. Cost is $15 per class, bring a mat and meet in Ms. Richard's room (bungalow 11 near the cafeteria). No children allowed, just for the adults. All levels welcome.
